Fig beer

My fig tree has been abundant (as attendants to last month’s meeting might attest). Does anyone have any suggestions, cautions, recommendations on fig beer?

I’ve not been aware of anyone doing a fig beer. But there is sugar in them and that will ferment.

I guess making a puree with a blender. I’d do a number of small batches and fry a different yeast on each of them to figure out which yeast makes you happy.

Or just do one small batch with any yeast and see if you like the direction it takes you.

I am also thinking that adding it to mead might be good.
