Subject: Need some help spreading the word re: Solace/HOWL Wort Share Competition

We’re behind on ticket sales this year for our annual competition! We could really use your help spreading the word, as we have some fantastic prizes and it’s a really good time.

I’d really appreciate it if you’d make an announcement at your next meeting and send this info along to your email/message forums/facebook lists as you do - thanks in advance!

Event: 3rd Annual HOWL/Solace Wort Share Competition

Concept: On March 14 come pick up 6 gallons of wort brewed by Solace (feel free to come early to see the process) and then use it as a base to brew whatever style you want. Then on May 3rd we will have a BJCP-sanctioned competition to judge the beers and award prizes. There is also a “people’s choice” award where you will get to try everyone else’s beers and vote for your favorite!

Prizes:

  • Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and best of show (people’s choice)

  • Spike Brewing Flex Fermentor (MSRP $250!)

  • JaDeD Scylla Wort Chiller (MSRP $170)

  • LD Carlson IPA Kit

  • AHA, Briess, Omega swag (t-shirts, hats, etc.)

  • Special secret gift from Solace brewing!
