Who has a pH meter? I have a fairly cheap on that I picked up for around $40 on Amazon (Dr. Meter PH100…this one: pH Meter, PH100-V, Dr.meter). I am always curious how its performance and reliability compares to the $100+ meters that I see recommended.
Also, we has some interesting discussions at Homebrew Con on methods for improving sensory awareness. That would be an interesting topic for future meetings.
I do not have a pH meter. I use the wider range test strips and find it works good enough for what I need.
I think that Mitch has a pH meter. He also has some experience with several version both cheap and expensive. Maybe you can PM him directly to see.
On the sensory subject. Carl and I plan to get together and make a plan for our club meetings on doing this. More to follow later.
